Botanic

Another recent Illustration. This piece is based on the Auckland Botanic Gardens.

The gardens are home to a number of different sculptures and beautiful scenery, my aim was to try and capture the most iconic areas and landmarks of the gardens and blend everything into a surrealist landscape. And add a bunch of my stupid doodles of course, i.e, the duckies!

You may notice that I’ve played around with using a lot more different textures and rendering methods with some of the objects/plants as a way to add a bit more visual variety and depth into the piece.
